Another great blog entry! As someone who literally runs between meetings all day every weekday, "just being" is something I need to relearn. I get a little anxious if I can't be plugged in to what's happening at work, even at night or on vacation. My favorite place to just be is Hawaii - walking the beach, running from waves, hiking, drinking coffee on the lanai and long days by the pool with no concept of time.

Katy-Hawaii is on my list-I'll get there someday. I am the same about getting anxious. Letting go is a 'learned' activity, I think. I am still working on it. Coffee on the lanai…yes!

Thank you Lise for that wonderful blog! We were doing the exact same thing in Zihuatanejo, Mexico. We ate our way through our usual spots and found some exceptional new ones. We didn't count our cervezas or our margaritas; we ate what we wanted and had a night cap on the balcony every night. We saw wild parrots fly by on several occasions. The only thought in our heads was what a wonderful day we're having or did have.

Mexico is my place to just being. I love that there is no schedule and the entire culture is like this. This is my place of relaxation! It would be a fun trip to have the warehouse family take a trip to Mexico! I try to just be present with my Family, life in general and not to get too caught up in the busy life. What a great blog post again!!

Great blog Lise! I could feel the pressures of life just lift away a little bit by reading about, and imagining this time. Living in the moment and "just being" sounds so simple but it truly is a challenge. My favorite place has been Hawaii. When everyone stopped to applaud the sunset, I realized how many sunsets I had not really noticed in my life and decided I would notice them & appreciate them for the rest of my life. Thank you for sharing your experience.

Great article Lise! 'Just being' is something I have to remind myself of on a regular basis. All too often we get caught up in life's activities and forget that we need a break once in awhile. My favorite place is also on a beach somewhere warm but when that is not available, a long walk or bike ride does the trick as well.
